It was this association which led to Yes’s lead singer, Jon Anderson guesting on Vangelis’ albumHeaven and Hell, performing the song which became this collection’s title track, the beautiful « So Long Ago, So Clear ». The success of this release led, under the name Jon and Vangelis, to a series of popular albums and hit singles, and this extensive anthology assembles both the best of these works and some of Vangelis’ finest solo material.
